Montana Congressman Denny Rehberg released a statement in reaction to the "new age" tea parties saying, "Montanans are understandably outraged at the dangerously irresponsible spending in Washington, D.C. The tea parties springing up around the nation exemplify that anger, and I hear their message loud and clear".

A spokesman for Montana Senator Jon Tester said that "Jon is very concerned about government spending. He was the only Senate Democrat to vote against both bailouts, and just this week voted to cut the federal deficit in half". Keep Reading Here.

Bob Beckel doesn't think to highly of Montanans. I guess the Democrat Party has written off Montana Voters?
Bob Beckel appeared on Fox News this morning to sneer at the nationwide event. He derided tax revolters in Montana, joking that “It was a good thing it wasn’t a vodka party, because I guarantee you they all had guns.” Bigoted Beltway jerk. Beckel also claimed the Tea Parties were “nothing new” and recycled the debunked Playboy website report (deleted from the site) spreading false and illogical rumors that the grass-roots movement is directed from the GOP, national tax groups, and CNBC.
