Imus to Leave RFD-TVBy Brian Stelter
Clearing the way for the Fox Business Network to simulcast his radio show, Don Imus said Wednesday that he was leaving RFD-TV, the rural television network that has shown “Imus in the Morning” for almost two years.
RFD will carry his show for the final time on Friday.
A spokesman said that Mr. Imus’s radio broadcasts “will continue to be produced by WABC Radio in New York and heard on 65 affiliates across the country courtesy of Citadel Broadcasting.”
Mr. Imus is in advanced negotiations with Fox Business, a unit of News Corporation, to simulcast his popular radio program. The deal would bring a big (albeit bruised) name to Fox Business, which has struggled to gain a robust audience since it started nearly two years ago. Click on the photo or KEEP READING HERE.

Born on March 30, 1853, at Groot-Zundert in the province of Brabant, Holland, Vincent Willem Van Gogh was the son of a Protestant minister, Theodorus Van Gogh. Exactly a year before his birth, his mother, Cornelia, gave birth to an infant, also named Vincent, who was stillborn, or dead upon birth. His grieving parents buried the child and set up a tombstone to mark the grave. As a result, Vincent Van Gogh grew up near the haunting sight of a grave with his own name upon it. His mother later gave birth to Theo, his younger brother, and three younger sisters. Not much is known about Van Gogh's earlier education, but he did receive some encouragement from his mother to draw and paint. As a teenager he drew and painted regularly. KEEP READING HERE.
Gemini, represents duality two sides. Click on Van Gogh's dreamers above, check Van Gogh's astral chart at birth. Mercury is the ruler of the astral sign Gemini.
Mercury rad, however, goes -90- Asc-Desc rad, which emphasizes once again how impulsive and quick-tempered he can be in his self-expression and communication with parents (Merc ruler IC rad), partners and the public. Overcompensation is the exact word for it. Vincent did not know where to draw the line. He exaggerated in nearly everything he did.
I decided to use Van Gogh's astral chart for my Take This Tune offering because of Vincent's famous Starry Night Painting.
Regarding Bipolar Disorder:Through out his life, Van Gogh gave evidence of mental instability having a difficult and moody personality. Various biographies - all from the perspective of history - describe him as suffering with epilepsy, depression, psychotic attacks, delusions, and bipolar disorder. In December 1888, Van Gogh experienced a psychotic episode in which he threatened the life of Gauguin, a personal friend and fellow artist. This episode also brought about the notorious incident in which Van Gogh cut off a piece of his own left ear offering it as a gift to a prostitute. Subsequently, he consigned himself to a mental asylum for more than a year, but left in frustration because his condition was not improving. "I know that the suffering of the Liberian people has been broad and deep but now you have a chance to take a stand against the past and for a future that is worthy of your sacrifice and suffering," she added.
Clinton later dedicated 4.4 million dollars in new equipment to upgrade Monrovia's new airport, part of two billion dollars in US aid to Liberia to bolster the peace process.
Later Thursday, Clinton left Monrovia for Cape Verde, another close ally of the United States. KEEP READING HERE.

Torrential rain met Clinton as she arrived in Monrovia, where hundreds of drenched people lined the streets to welcome her, waving American and Liberian flag and holding banners, some of which proclaimed that she was a ``woman of substance for Liberia.''
She said the US would be providing $17.5 million in assistance to help ensure the election is free and fair. She also said the US wold expand its cooperation in training a professional Liberian police force.
Liberia has historically close ties with the US. It was founded in 1847 by freed American slaves. Clinton is here on the sixth leg of a seven-nation tour of Africa aimed at promoting democracy and development. KEEP READING HERE.

While many Monrovia residents were glad to welcome Clinton, and applauded the affirmation of a long-standing relationship, others saw little benefit.
"We cannot see what America is doing for us," businesswoman Marie Sumo said. "Look at Ghana, in terms of development. Take a look at us today. We are still behind today. For me, this is time that we make friends with our African brothers and sisters. KEEP READING HERE.

Liberians are overwhelmingly pro American, for facts about Liberia you can go here.
I would as an American, appreciate seeing us help Liberians climb out of the devastation, years of civil war has wrought upon them. They are descendants of American Slaves, they think of themselves as Americans. It would be a good message to send to the world, we take care of our own. They could also stand as a model for other African Nations. We are currently helping them train their police force. They need things we take for granted like a sanitation department, they don't get electricity 24/7, in Monrovia their children are going to school in a burned out church. They sometimes only eat twice a day. I know they have Liberian Coffee (commodity) because my spouse brought some home for us to try. Liberia it could be paradise with some American Ingenuity & Investment.

The City of Bozeman was named for John M Bozeman, the founder of the Bozeman Trail. My family followed the Bozeman Trail. They left St Joseph, Missouri in a wagon train headed for our family homestead in 1894.
The movie a "River Runs Through It" was filmed in Bozeman, Montana. The movie was trying to capture the setting of Missoula, Montana in an earlier era but Missoula, has transformed into something more modern over the years. One of my favorite lines from the movie is when one brother tells this to the other: The further away you get from Missoula, Montana, the more bastards you run into. Amen Brother!
This is interesting this happened recently in Bozeman June 2009, does it remind anyone of anything we are experiencing right now? Huh, collecting information on Montanan's internet activity.....
Employment application controversy from Wikipedia.
In June 2009, a controversy emerged related to job applications for prospective city employees. Part of the city's background check policy included a requirement to list all social networking sites in which the prospective employee had participated, including passwords and other login information. Critics of this policy have found it a violation of the Montana Constitution's guarantees of privacy rights; the city attorney has responded by stating that it is a necessary part of the city's background check system. Widespread criticism led the city to stop requesting passwords and other login information within a few days of implementing the policy. They even have community organization, I have never heard of the HRDC.
The first Federal Building and Post Office was built in 1915. Many years later, while empty, it was a film location along with downtown Bozeman in A River Runs Through It (1992) by Robert Redford, starring Brad Pitt. It is now used by HRDC, a community organization. You can keep reading about Bozeman, Montana HERE.
I wonder what the locals think of this Health Care Reform Bill? Mt Pundit a conservative blogger has been posting about this very topic HERE.
Billings Gazette, MIKE DENNISON Gazette State Bureau | Posted: Tuesday, August 11, 2009 9:35 pm
Obama and his family are scheduled to arrive on Air Force One at Gallatin Field Airport at 12:30 p.m. Friday; the town hall is scheduled to begin 20 minutes later.
The Obama family plans to visit Yellowstone National Park later on Friday, and the president has scheduled another town meeting Saturday in Grand Junction, Colo.
A prominent group opposing the Democrats' health reform plans is planning an event in Bozeman, to coincide with the president's visit.
Patients First, a project of Americans for Prosperity, is organizing bus tours in 13 states to promote opposition to health reform proposals before Congress. One of those tours had been planned in Montana this week, and organizers slightly adjusted the schedule to have a stop in Bozeman on the day of the president's visit.
Jake Eaton, a former executive director of the Montana Republican Party and coordinator of the event, said the bus tour will feature speakers opposing the reforms as a "government takeover of health care," and will stop at rallies planned in several cities, from Friday through Monday. Keep Reading HERE.
Welcome First Family, if you run into any malcontents remember you could have held this town hall in Missoula, GRIN. I would also remind everyone that Montana, and other North Western States have been over run with folks fleeing California (we call them transplants) and who could blame them, anyone check out the late great state of California lately? I hear there Government is going to stop issuing IOUs next month.

Obama's Montana town hall not quite the 'Wild West'

Barack Obama's town hall in the Bozeman, Montana area is not as 'bold' of a trip into the Wild West as described by Politico's Carole E. Lee this morning.
Bozeman, Montana is a college town with many resident yuppies and is a home for multi-millionaires looking to buy their own piece of the West.
Although the event is in the Bozeman suburb of Belgrade, a short drive takes you to the popular Big Sky Ski Resort or to the Yellowstone Club, a posh invitation-only playground for millionares. Although it's since gone bankrupt, at one time it cost a minimum of $250,000 to join, plus the cost of a $5 million to $35 million mountainside home.
Billionaire Ted Turner owns hundreds of thousands of acres in the area and his local buffalo burger joint has already created their $10 Obama burger in anticipation of our burger loving president's visit. KEEP READING HERE.
Max Baucus (D) Chairman of the Senate Finance Commitee, it will take Max Baucus, to move any health care insurance reform bill, through the Senate.

My take on the proposed health insurance reform bills, if our public servants - the folks who live off of our taxes, won't go on the plan, they have proposed for us, it's a non starter. If they won't eat their own cooking neither will I.
That isn't the only problem with the people, who are proposing to scrap our current system to cover an estimated 8 to 10 million people, who are not currently covered. Democracy is majority rule with minority protection not vice versa. NBC/Wall Street Journal survey Job creation was the top priority of 38 percent of the public; the deficit, 17 percent; and health care 14 percent.
The progressive wing of the Democrat party, seem not to understand, for all the folks showing up at these town hall meetings, they have peers watching from home on their televisions, and computers. Like an iceberg, you can see what is above the surface, they see the folks who show up in person, but they don't see all the people who support the protesters, those same people are under the surface. When I read, the Speaker of the House write, that town hall protesters are UnAmerican.
I believe she is trying to steer the angst away from the White House, and back towards the Congress, to take the heat off of the President. An attempt to manipulate the pressure, building up against this so called health insurance reform, that our President has made his signature legislation. Madame Speaker doesn't have a problem playing the villain for the Administration, if they get what they want in the end. It doesn't change the dynamics though, they have charted their course, there is an iceberg ahead. If the progressive wing of the Democrat Party manages to shove this legislation through - legislation they wouldn't avail themselves to - they have juicy health insurance coverage, then come 2 November 2010, they are going to see an incredible backlash by frustrated Voters aka American Tax Payers. I suspect it will also effect their ability to raise campaign funds for those same congressional races in the future.

Inglourious Basterds is nothing like history at all, but it is a roller-coaster ride.Brad Pitt plays the death squad's hillbilly commander as a charismatic psychopath who has found his niche in the killing game. His opposite number, a cultivated monster known as the Jew Hunter who has a particularly acute ear for accents — a crucial plot point — is played by the remarkable Austrian actor Christian Waltz, who has mastered Tarantino's comic-book idiom in three languages. • It's Don Imus like you've never seen before! Sean gets an exclusive look inside The Imus Ranch for kids with cancer. Hannity at Fox News Here.
RIBERA, N.M. — Over the last 11 summers Don Imus and his wife, Deirdre, have welcomed nearly 1,000 children with cancer to their cattle ranch here in northern New Mexico for week long stays intended to be more work than play.
My favorite Imus' comments from this article:
.......That was made clear to Cory Trout, 15, of Las Vegas, a visitor to the ranch in mid-July as part of a week long program not for children with cancer but for those who had lost siblings to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, a group for which Mr. Imus has also raised money.
“This is not a good job,” Mr. Imus told Cory just after breakfast, as he stood over the boy’s freshly made bed. “See how your sheet is down to the floor? It needs to be tucked in.”
Soon after, Mr. Imus instructed Javier Rivera, 12, of New Jersey, on the proper way to wear his blue jeans. “Pull up your pants, Javier, or I swear I’m going to put you on the next plane back to Newark,” Mr. Imus said. Keep Reading HERE.

Five years after Cpl. Jason Dunham died in Iraq, his former commander delivered the shattered remains of his helmet to the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Va., save one piece that will be sealed within the mast of a Navy destroyer named in Dunham’s honor.
The ship was dedicated Saturday in Maine.
What makes Dunham’s helmet worthy of a museum and a destroyer is not the helmet itself, but the heroism of its former owner, the Corps’ only Medal of Honor recipient from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. While repelling an ambush in Karabilah, Iraq, Dunham saved his fellow Marines by throwing his helmet and himself on an enemy grenade. Keep Reading HERE.
