Shakespear In The Park Montana 2010 JULIUS CAESAR

Shakespeare In the Park Montana, Plays & Schedule, for Summer of 2010.

Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has been touring Montana, northern Wyoming and eastern Idaho since 1973, with performances of free, professional outdoor theater. An outreach program of Montana State University, it is the only completely professional touring theater program in the state that produces Shakespeare’s plays, the only Shakespeare company in the country to reach as extensively into rural areas, and the only company in the state that offers its performances free to the public.

Julius Caesar,

Brutus, Cassius, and other high-ranking Romans plot to murder Caesar, because they believe his ambition will lead to tyranny. The people of Rome are on their side until Antony, Caesar's right-hand man, makes a moving speech. The conspirators are driven from Rome, and two armies are formed: one side following the conspirators; the other, Antony. They include a study guide. (Seal Hunter was the only one in her sophomore English class, to get an A on Shakespeare's Julius Caesar final exam.)

My favorite speech from Julius Caesar: Cry Havoc And Let Slip The Dogs Of War.

Blood and destruction shall be so in use
And dreadful objects so familiar
That mothers shall but smile when they behold
Their infants quarter'd with the hands of war;
All pity choked with custom of fell deeds:
And Caesar's spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war;
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.

A Midsummer Nights Dream:

Demetrius and Lysander both want Hermia. Hermia only has eyes for Lysander. Hermia's father wants Demetrius for a son-in-law. Helena's unreturned love burns hot for Demetrius. Waiting - In the forest The Faerie King & Queen are having a spat...and somehow Puck, the King's chief mischief-maker runs loose with a flower which causes people to fall in love with the first thing they see upon waking....

A Midsummer Nights Dream, is Seal Hunter's favorite Shakespeare play. My favorite "Titus Andronicus" I love vendetta themed tragedies.

Krokus "Screaming In The Night"

Sons of vengeance, can you rescue me

They got me tied up to a woe tree

They had me screamin' and alone in the night

I'm beginning to see what's wrong and what is right

What is wrong and what is right, oh, what is wrong and what is right
