The Plums Are Lost In The Past " Clue IX "

The Colonel turned to America and said” we have a need for one special stop before we do
anything else in this area.”

The French castle is probably the Oldest Building in the Eastern United States. The Fort consisting of the French castle and the surrounding buildings had troops stationed through both of the World Wars and the last army units were withdrawn in 1963. The Plums learned from family history, passed down in his mother's family, that Colonel Plum's Uncle was trained here before he went to war and died on Italian soil. America's husband is so proud of this Uncle who died for his country.

That night in their motel room, they receive an email. It was from Mr. Plum's cousin that they haven't met yet. When the Colonel tells him where they are, the cousin tells him that he lives nearby, just up the road a bit! To top this off he has guests staying with him. Other cousins that have came from Bavaria to get to know their relatives in the USA. Tomorrow the Plums will drive a bit further to visit with these families.
