The Plums Are Lost In The Past " Clue VIII "

After dinner, America thought, I may make a strange dish of spaghetti, with black beans, picante sauce ad Romano cheese on top, but there they served their spaghetti with chili on it!! Mrs. Plum thinking of food, made the Colonel exclaim “Crikey!” as he smacked his forehead with the palm of his hand and exclaimed, “On Easter Sunday that is what that giant bunny carrying that basket of Buffalo wings meant! Buffalo wings! Someone wants us to go to Buffalo, New York, home of the Buffalo flavored chicken wings".

As the Plums passed through the land of famous railroads, the Lackawanna, Rock Island Line, Erie, B& O, etc. America and the Colonel discovered 110% humidity. At 4:30 a.m. they woke to fierce lightning and thunder storms. The lightning was very close to where they stayed the night. America said “it’s a good time to make coffee and head on down the road”.

They arrived in Buffalo, New York, had a delicious meal of chicken wings and across the street from the restaurant spotted the Public Library. An idea struck Mr. Plum, of course, what a better place to get records of marriages and deaths in New York than this ancient vault of information. Inside the old structure, America and her husband found that Mr. Plum has an Aunt buried in upper New York. It must be the next stop.
