Imus guest this morning Mr Bill O'Reilly, has a problem with Frank Rich's description of President Obama, suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, in his recent New York Times article.
All the President’s Captors
Published: December 4, 2010
By Op-Ed Columnist, FRANK RICH
THOSE desperate to decipher the baffling Obama presidency could do worse than consult an article titled “Understanding Stockholm Syndrome” in the online archive of The F.B.I. Law Enforcement Bulletin. It explains that hostage takers are most successful at winning a victim’s loyalty if they temper their brutality with a bogus show of kindness. Soon enough, the hostage will start concentrating on his captors’ “good side” and develop psychological characteristics to please them — “dependency; lack of initiative; and an inability to act, decide or think.” Keep Reading HERE.
Frank Rich, NYT Columnist, was a guest yesterday on Imus In The Morning. Bill was responding to his interview with Imus, where Frank expounded on his "Stockholm Theory" as it regards to the President, tracking toward the center of our country's electorate - or as I like to refer to it, the Reasonable Middle.
Maybe from where Frank Rich sits, it looks like the President has been taken captive. Out here in the blogsphere occupying one of the cheap seats, I have a different vantage point. From my view point "We The People" aka The American Voter, have rescued the President. From his far left, humorless, rigid, dogmatic, slavish conformist, doctrine obsessed, micromanaging base ......but I digress. Mr O'Reilly was pointing out to the I Man, what a pinhead Frank Rich is for his Stockholm Syndrome rhetoric. The I man revealed yesterday how Fox Business News VP Neil Cavuto, was setting his DVR in anticipation of Frank Rich's interview.
In defense of Frank Rich, he still comes on a Fox News Network, when invited. How many heeded the call from the White House, to the other news outlets, not to let their talent appear on Fox News affiliates? I know CNN contributor James Carville, doesn't appear on Imus In The Morning anymore. I think Frank deserves to be cut some slack. How long has the siege against Fox News by the Obama Administration been going on now? How Goes The War Against Fox? Marty Davis - Chickaboomer, has the latest casualty numbers HERE.

Has someone been posting your classified documents online? Are you tired of them thumbing their nose at you? Would you like to see them taken down? It seems that it's open season on Wikileaks founder, and personality Julian Ass'ange. A Hacker that goes by the online handle Jester, has already taken credit for taking the Wikileaks website down once. Jesters' stated reasoning, he's a Hacktivist For Good. The Swedes of all people are trying to extradite Ass'ange, from wherever - it's not like he isn't hiding in plain sight. Oh and Ecuador took back their offer of safe haven. NYDailyNews, Ecuador's President retracts 'offer' of safe haven to Julian Assange made by deputy foreign minister. After uploading and publishing 100s of thousands of classified documents, and pissing off just about everyone not inhabiting their parent's basement - Ass'ange can't seem to stop catching a break.
While Assange has not made a public appearance for nearly a month, his lawyer insisted authorities know where to find him.
"Both the British and the Swedish authorities know how to contact him, and the security services know exactly where he is," Stephens told The Associated Press.
Interpol targets wikileak founder Julian Ass'ange with red notice. That looks serious. I wonder what is a red notice? The red notice does not compel individual nations to act on it, Mr. Kopel adds, and "Countries make their own decisions about how to treat a red notice. Some countries treat a red notice as an actionable request for an arrest; the United States does not." Nor does Interpol have any enforcement powers itself – it cannot enforce criminal laws, but rather is a mechanism to share information between law enforcement organizations around the globe.
I see, so it's a notice that the international community is going to gossip about Ass'ange's alleged kinky Swedish sex life.
I have to admit, I am cynical about Julian Ass'ange's motives for publishing classified American documents. Ass'ange, stated the documents he posted on the wikileaks website proves that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton should resign.
Stengel had said the U.S. Secretary of State was looking like "the fall guy" in the ensuing controversy, and had asked whether her firing or resignation was an outcome that Assange wanted. "I don't think it would make much of a difference either way," Assange said. "But she should resign if it can be shown that she was responsible for ordering U.S. diplomatic figures to engage in espionage in the United Nations, in violation of the international covenants to which the U.S. has signed up. Yes, she should resign over that." READ MORE HERE AT TIME.COM.
From what I have read Secretary of State Mrs Clinton, has been carrying out the duties of her office. Who does Julian Ass'ange think he is? " The Pollyanna of Hackers" In all honesty he comes off as a bit of a girl to me. I think the only reason the United States is moving on doing anything about Wikileaks is because of Ass'ange's threat to publish "Early next year, a major American bank will discover all its innermost workings exposed to the world." Okay maybe the Pentagon will shrug off a low level classified paper dump, and maybe even the State Department will let the little fish swim in the big pool, but when you start messing with Investment Bankers - Perhaps it's a document dump too far.
Right now at this point in the leaked documents, I can't tell if Julian Ass'ange is going to sink or swim. But if he goes ahead with his threat to publish corporate, and private banks documents. I think he might find that his public notoriety won't be enough to keep him buoyant.
Imus's guest this week Laura Ingraham, Mike Wallace, and Chris Reid. Each took a swing at the Wikileaks revelations and their impact.
Chip Reid - Was more concerned Michael Vick is still playing professional football.
Laura Ingraham - Channels DHS Janet Napolitano, Full Body Scanner Experience.
Mike Wallace, probably has the best take on what makes Julian Ass'ange tick. Mr Wallace compares what Ass'ange does to pornography.
